The National Library of the Philippines awarded the Provincial Government of Bulacan a certificate of distinction for its outstanding performance in providing library services to 375,628 physical and online users in 2021. For its devotion and dedication to public service, they were named the top-performing public library in the Philippines in the province category in 2021.

The honor was presented by Dr. Blesila P. Velasco, chief of the Public Libraries Division, and Dir. Cesar Gilbert Q. Adriano of the National Library of the Philippines. The Provincial Government of Bulacan also received a certificate of completion of the 2021 monthly reports, in addition to the certificate of appreciation.

With Marlon A. Hipolito, Provincial Librarian, May Arlene DG. Torres, History and Heritage Division head, and Cyrille Ann A. Dela Cruz, assistant program coordinator, Dr. Eliseo S. Dela Cruz, Provincial History Arts, and Culture Tourism Office (PHACTO) head, received the Bulacan Provincial Library award.
