The Big Bad Wolf Book Sale Manila will be open 24 hours straight starting tomorrow, February 14 until February 24 at the World Trade Center, Pasay City, Metro Manila.  More than 2 million English titles will be available at 50-90% off the recommended retail price.  The ‘Crazy Deals’ promotion will also be introduced for the first time in Manila offering markdowns as low as 60.

Admission to the venue is FREE.

If you plan to go to the book sale, here are some quick tips to help make your experience an easy one:

  •  Wear comfortable clothes and shoes.   The book sale covers the whole venue and you would be walking around to find the titles you are looking for.
  •  Bring reusable bags (or even luggage bags!).   When you purchase books, they will not be providing bags to put them in.  So bring as many reusable bags as you need.   The bigger the bag, the better!  You can bring your luggage bags too!  They do sell reusable bags for ₱20 each if you don’t have one.
  •  Allot a few hours when you go.  The venue is quite large and there are millions of books to choose from.  If you want the best our of your visit and don’t want to miss out on the books that you were looking for, we suggest that you prepare to be there for hours.  The books are only organized by genre, so finding the book that you wanted might take time.
  • Prepare a list in advance.  Make a list, a long list if you want.  You can probably browse online for some books that you might be interested in and list them down.  There is a chance that not all of the books that you really want may be available so having a long list will give you a better chance of finding books that you want to purchase.
  • Know your book’s genre in advance.  Books are organized by genre.  That’s about it.  The staff and customer service can only help you look for your book up to roughly which genre you should look through so might as well know it in advance.  You’d have to browse through a few tables, though, since the books aren’t arranged in any order.
  • Eat before you go.  You need time and energy to shop, we suggest you go on a full stomach.  There are only a few food stalls selling food and only a few tables available to eat at.
